Those docs. are pretty descriptive and would suggest a strong role Saddam played with al quida. But something doesn't smell right with them. I can't justify in my own mind how all of this information could be available yet not make it on the bill orielly and shawn hanneity shows. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem watching these guys on tv.
We both know the country is split right down the middle. Over the last several years I have come across posts from both sides of the isle where someone is trying to sway opinion or win an argument and they provide what appears to be links to news sources. Closer review has revealed some to be manipulated and or completely fake.
These documents you are supplying contains information that would change the face and the support for the war in Iraq. This information would silence those (including me) who believe the bush administration cherry picked information (at a minimum) and lied us into the war. This kind of information would legitimize everything the guys has done in Iraq and would boost his low approval ratings probably into the 60% area plus some. If this information was main stream before the elections on Nov. 7th, I don't believe the elections would have gone against the republicans in the way that it did and I don't think the dems would have taken the senate or the house, let along both.
So there is still that one outstanding issue and that is that no one is jumping on this information and making it mainstream. And this information has been around for awhile. In a world where any smart, self aware thinking person realized he/she has to scrutinize information even from relaibly deemed sources, this information just doesn't add up to what it appears to be. This type of information would be trumpeted by the likes of bush, cheney, rumsfield and snow and handed over to the press. And it would not just be the usual fox news, hanniety, limbauch types trumpeting it. This is the kind of information that would appear in your local papers in as big and bold type as the end of WWII. Something just isn't right with it.
We both know im no fan of bush, the neocons and some who cruise these threads who blindly support them. With that said, if the evidence was on his side, I have no problem accepting it and switching my stance on several issues. It would not turn me into a neocon nor would I like the guy or his crowd. But like i said, something about this isn't right and I have built a strong case to suggest just that. And it is to easy to flip up a youtube video of powell and rice and compare that with powell a year and a half later at the UN and start to wonder. |
