KPF, Yes Merom/Conroe/Woodcrest come largely from Israel.

Just adding to Elmer's points:

AMD has increased available fab capacity by a factor two and is using it to increase unit market share (Dell) as well as enriching it's mix of Dual Core vs Single core processors. This trend looks like it will continue to a lesser extent throughout 2007.

ASP's are under pressure because Intel has quite a bit better performing products, but AMD is lowering cost (through econ of scale) and is using it's capacity to increase DC/SC mix which should counter this effect to a good extent while it is also is increasing mobile market share significantly.

Halfway through 2007 AMD will release a new highly anticipated design (native quad core Barcelona) that is reasonably largely expected to have significantly better FP performance than comparable Intel products, while Integer performance might be about on par (less clear).

AMD completed the acquisition of graphics chip designer ATI. Near term this can have a shortish term negative effect on the outlook of the combined company as ATI is loosing it's Intel related sales to a very significant extent. The combined companies financials will be discussed on Dec 14 Analyst meeting that will probably be accessable via a web cast via AMD's web site. Long term it offers a leap over Intel in mainstream products in combining GPU + CPU on one die.
