There was a murder in the house two houses over 5-6 yrs ago. It was on the mkt and a realtor went to an appt to show the house and was killed.

Damn!!! That was a couple doors down from you?

I remember that.

Back in 1989, just before I moved to Issaquah, there was a double murder in a development near where we were buying. Turned out it was the estranged husband of the woman who was killed who did it. He lay in wait and murdered his wife and her boyfriend, then made a botched attempt at committing suicide.

Didn't make me feel great about moving into the neighborhood.

I later became friends with a King County Homicide Detective who investigated the case.
