Irrelevant and unknowable, at the moment! Had Republicans and Democrats believed Iraq posed no threat to the U.S., we wouldn't be there right now. The threat exists when Muslim fanatics are in charge. Recognizing that is recognizing a job needing doing, still.

And great Swami, you DON'T know "we would still be waiting (for Saddam to attack)" if we'd done nothing in Iraq. We know Iraq sympathized with and supported terrorists (one would think that might be enough said). Would you say Osama, the said to be guilty one, was even weaker than Saddam in terms of WMD and military might?

No, you haven't a clue what may or may not have taken place by now had we stopped to focus on Osama. You just write, as usual, out of your hat, spinning a yarn of folly, IMHO.
