Bush created many of our national security problems. Including the much more hostile and emboldened Iran and Hezbollah and the utter chaos in Iraq which threatens the entire region.

We have two years without a democratic president when I am much more worried about our foreign and military policy. Clearly, the GOP's tough talk doesn't translate to competence or being able to wage any kind of productive military operations. When it comes to military operations the best run in the past 20 years have been Clinton working with NATO to remove Milosovic, without a single US casualty, and GHW Bush's removal of Iraq from Kuwait without it costing US taxpayers a dime. The worst is GW Bush in Iraq, and he blew it in Afghanistan too.

The worst of all time was LBJ and Nixon in Vietnam.

As a student of history, I notice that every time the US corporate rightwing gets really arrogant and treats a third world country like a plantation they own, the US loses. But every time we work with allies and keep our egos and corporate greed in check, we win. Think about it.

Actually the biggest problems in the world are now overpopulation, environmental degradation and global warming. Think about that too. Democrats are definitely much stronger on those two issues.
