Except for the fact that farm animals consume feed that is nowhere close to human grade. Or that meat is still a valuable source of protein and nutrients and a vital part of newer diets like South Beach.

The trans fat stuff, however, can kill you, which is why the People's Republic of NYC is trying to ban it.
