It's pure speculation, that's for sure. It requires paying very close attention to the chart. I take many trades and close them out in less than a minute if I'm wrong. I let them go, sometimes 15 or 20 minutes when I'm right. I can usually capture a point or two. A point is worth $100 per contract and I trade anywhere from 2 to 5 contracts most times.

I did a check on my October trades a couple weeks ago. The average time in a winning trade was around 5 minutes. Very rarely, I could have stayed in for hours, but I never have.
