It is nice to have those kinds of connections. Not everyone is honest. My sister in law had a a major department store chain that was later fined for such behavior sell her a new transmission when it was not required. Her brother had her request the old parts. He owned a repair shop and forced the people who did the work to remove the new tranny, and repair the old one for a fair price.

I bought a low mileage car from a person in an independent living center. It has been a good car for the last fifteen months. Within the next six months I should have the mileage on that '97 doubled over when I bought it.
