"You're lying. I don't "promote" stocks.:
During 2005 in a PM to me you stated you were a good stock promotor or words that had a similar context. (The PM is gone so I can't repost it).
"You won't find me publishing "to the moon tomorrow" type posts."
Of course you don't do that, but you do perpetually repost over and over again information on the same stock.
"I often post that anyone who claims to be right more than about 70% of the time is a liar and I suspect you fall into that category."
I suspect that you are wrong. And even when a stock is a sure winner, the only benefit is for others to share in what I found. My picks don't need incessant promotion.
"We had a guy on here Anthony, who used to have his sheeple go around saying he was right 100% of the time (or more LOL) and he's serving a decade more in fed pen. Ever heard of him?"
I was around in that era and he wasn't right 100% of the time but he did damn good DD.
"and then you say you don't have one stock that you like right now"
That's right. One of the ways to make money in the market is maximize gains while keeping losses to a minimum. I currently only have 5 stocks in my portfolio, 3 are awaiting pay offs on buy outs.
ONe of the other stocks I am holding is TAGOF which I have owned in the past. My average price in was about $.50 give or take a penny and purchased last week. I have minimal expectations for it but do believe it can and will gain 50% over the next year which is just fine with me. However, it is not the type of stock I post about on SI.
I also have a position in TOVC picked up during the summer. I have also owned this in the past, and it is again not the type of stock I would post about as it would take up several pages to explain why I bought it. It also would take an understanding to the psyche of the investor who buys this stock and a complete history...as it has always run on hype, rather than fundamentals.
"Why don't you pick LBWR as a short?"
I'm sorry, I don't have an offshore accout. Even if I did, it has too little volatility.
"but it also presents the possibility of a big gain, particularly given the fact that the CEO has been honest and communicative and transparent with respect to business plan and capital structure."
Doesn't cut squat. The facts are, if I read the financials properly, the only reason the company showed a profit was because it issued 3MM plus shares at $.034 this year. The bottom line is the company is still losing nearly as much as it did a year ago, despite increased sales.
In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see the full year unaudited financials showing a larger loss than last years, but that is only speculative.
I am sure that when those 3.4MM shares can be dumped on the market, if they haven't been already, it will knock this thing down some more.
Nice deal though for those shareholders. Anything about $.034 is profit.
