HI Mike,
woulda got back sooner but Judy and me are redoing two
bathrooms downstairs and we don't know a damn thing about
how to do that. But it'll be nice. I'm home and bring lots of
caffene and oversite to the crew guys and we'll have nicer bathrooms. Got tired of looking at the old ming-green tub and toilet put in here in 1950. (Let those retro-wannabees come pay me big dough for it<BG)

My brokerage firms only give me grief if I overtrade my cash accounts in my IRA and get crosswise of "settled cash". Other than that I am happy with all of em (TDW/Ameritrade/Sch)
the first two are merging so may have to find another to make 3 in the trading area. (I have a "WC Fields" streak in me that doesn't want all my eggs in ANY basket.. much less one)

I share your sentiments about the general market status right now. But, that said, I was fortunate to ride these last couple months. Helped pick back up some of the summers losses after a good spring.

I read a pile of mags and all the gold/eagle reports I could over the weekend. All negative on the dollar and sure that we are headed for collapse. How do you buy bullion and where can you keep it so that it is "safe" and not confiscated in some official manner during a depression or stock market rout?
