I just watched Baker and Hamilton on the Newshour. They totally BUSTED the Bush admin's pitiful strategery in Iraq. According to them, "staying the course" for the last three years has yeilded a complete disaster that probably can't be saved. But, they've got some ideas to try, as we crab-walk our way out of the place.

I don't see HOW Bush can see this as anything more than a complete repudiation of his policies and since HE hasn't had anything new to try, his competence.
