As I understand it, in Judaism some argue for the existence of other spiritual entities, in addition to the G-d of Israel. Allegedly, these entities may be acknowledged as gods by some "religions." The first Commandment in Exodus reads "...no OTHER God before me." That's all grist to my (polytheist) mill... and confirms the parallel between totalitarianism/dictatorship and monotheism. Likewise: Concepts of anarchism, dictatorship, and multiparty democracy are complex. There is no central authority in a democracy comparable to a dictatorship. As I understand it, in an authoritarian regime dissidents argue for the existence of other political entities, in addition to the Fuehrer/Caudillo/Duce/Conducator().
