If you refer to execution units, that hasn't changed (still 9/core fafaik). If you refer to L2 cache you're probably right, that is set 16 way associative iirc, but if that's what you meant your remark makes not much sense to me. Do you know what you are refering to here?

Also 65nm is a actually quite a big thing. Besides making Barcelona possible in the future, the delay has hampered AMD for two quarters now in ramping DC/SC much faster (capacity constrained).

Lastly Brisbane die size is of significance for investors whether you think so or not. Not the most important thing, but still important.
