Mr. Rat, you are indeed a member of a select group. Probably one of not more than a few dozen who deny the MWP.

There is no serious doubt that a global temperature drop of several degrees occurred from AD 1000 to 1700. Mann, Bradley and Hughes are still trying to pretend that they didn't screw up in their notorious "hockey stick" reconstruction. They either fiddled with their data or didn't have the statistical skills to do the analysis.

You might want to review a few of the recent papers of Constance Millar.

Table 4 on Page 10 summarizes differences in climate estimates for the period AD 800 - 1350. Her research shows that temperatures in the MWP were about 3 deg above current values.
