Holy carp. A move like that in yen today could bankrupt dozens of hedge funds and literally seize up the entire global financial system. Mortgages, home equity lines, auto loans, you name it.

Of course, we're smarter than our forefathers and have figured out how to avoid all negative economic events. <s>
