Some thoughts here:
1. The street already expected estimates were not going to be met, so perhaps this warning, which won't come as too much of a surprise, won't have a startling effect.
2. The uncertainty regarding earnings was prompting people to jump ship.
3. Now that the uncertainty is removed, the bad news is out in the open, and investment decisions will be made based on the facts, not fears.
4. Crises atmosphere tomorrow wouldn't surprise me, but neither would a market that takes everything in stride.
