Even if the white colonizers were less aggressive against the natives, and showed them more respect, you still would have had a lot of death and destruction among the tribes. Some conflicts would have happened anyway, and more importantly most of the death was from disease which would have occurred anyway, unless "the Americas" were declared off limits and that restriction was somehow enforced.
