i'm not sure what the value of this debate is. you'll never get clear stats intel's yield. unless byrant starts taking underutilization charges you'll never know what level the fabs are running. the only clear measure comes 4x a year when they declare publicly the size of their inventory and whether or not they're taking a charge for it. you can occasionally get other indicators from unscheduled price moves. i haven't seen any of those lately. the rest is just chest beating... gb
