Intel has reported operating losses for flash every quarter all the way back to Q4/04. Before that they only have reported flash rev (not profit/loss) on a quarterly basis. On a yearly basis Intel has had straight operating losses going back to 2003. At least AMD made an occasional operating profit on flash. I think btw that Elmer said things to the contrary thinking Intel made money on flash (and if so talked about things he had no prove for). I can't read back his exact words though as I'm only a lifer. Regards, Rink
