Only the old guard Cuban-Americans are rightwing, the ones whose land got taken by the revolutionaries. Since the 1960's, Florida has been filling up with all kinds of different Hispanics. Few of those care much about Castro. After all, what harm has Castro done us since 1961? Mostly, he's harmed his own people with the help of our trade embargo. In fact, if we hadn't stopped buying sugar from Cuba they never would have allied with the Soviet Union. Fear of communism created more communism. The Cuban people desperately want a freer government. When castro dies there will be changes. And if the president of the US is not a rightwinger, he will start making peace with Cuba. BTW, all that Cuban real estate which was taken is now sitting there decayed and run down. Cuba would love it if Cuban-Americans would come down and invest to re-develop it. So everyone could be happy.
