The law has impacted some of the largest sites and they've disappeared in America. Party Poker, Pacific Poker, Poker Room, etc. are gone. But huge sites like PokerStars, Full Tilt, Ultimate Bet and Prima (Royal Vegas, Game Room, etc.) are still up and running and taking on the players from the sites that have bugged out. As are Bodog and Doyle's Room. The law could have been the best thing to happen to Mansion Poker.

The cutoff seems to be the companies with public stock are gone, as the directors could get sued by shareholders or the exchanges. The private cos. don't have that problem.

The million dollar Sunday tournament at PokerStars has more players than ever.

With the Democrats back in charge of Congress, there may be an exception for poker placed into the law. The Republicrooks already granted exceptions for horseracing and state lotteries. The odds on horseracing are very bad while lotteries are a total ripoff. So, the GOP was trying to screw Americans out of their money faster than poker or blackjack could do it, with their better odds. <G>
