The exchange you quoted was a follow on from a previous post based on a hypothetical situation. Message 23081903 You're mistaken about what I've said. In case you haven't noticed I've said nothing whatsoever about what Intel's yields are or what the loading is in any of their 65nm fabs. All I've been doing is pointing out that you've made some assumptions that aren't rooted in any fact we can look at and verify. But, I am willing to discuss this hypothetically as long as you don't make the mistake of believing I am in any way confirming anything not in evidence. Again, all this proves is that Intel has too much capacity if their yields are in fact what they claim. I'm not saying they are, but you aren't presenting any case to show they aren't either.
