Correct, the case is ongoing.

On the other hand, they were ruled to have violated Japan's antitrust laws, and chose not to contest.

In fact, there is only one major Semiconductor manufacturer currently involved in an anti-trust investigation by the DOJ and it isn't Intel. If anything, you should be talking about AMD's anti competitive practices.

And now you're getting all giddy with the prospect of an antitrust suit against AMD, without seeing a single allegation or shred of evidence. Boy, it's going to be fun using your own posts to argue against you as your "speculation" commences...

I for one am sure that ATI and NVidia's lawyers know the relevant antitrust statutes, and educate their executives and sales forces appropriately, therefore it's impossible for an antitrust violation to have occurred.
