Nokia E90, the new communicator. Expected to be released pretty soon, commercial availability spring 2007. Michal Jerz from MySymbian.com site wrote a short comment on the new communicator he had been playing with, the text was removed from the site (which means that Nokia had probably asked for the removal, indicating that his comments were accurate...) but according to his comments the E90 would have some awesome features:
* 240 x 320 pixel external screen, 800 x 352 pixel internal screen, full interoperability between the cover and inside screens
* built-in GPS
* GSM/GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA/HSDPA
* Wlan
* Bluetooth
* standard mini USB
* external high resolution camera with LED flash, internal low res camera for video calls
* micro SD card support
Michal's final comment was: You know that I am a big fan of the UIQ platform and the P990, but after playing with the E90 today all I can say is: goodbye P990, welcome E90, my new LOVE! Yes, it's the best Symbian OS based device I've seen (at least when it comes to how it looks and what its tech specs are; it's too early to judge its stability and functionality of the system software). |
