12/8/06 Update
The Nasdaq Biotech Index had a decent week, closing Friday up 5.06% YTD (vs. up 3.84% YTD at the 12/1/06 close). However, the median for the Charity Contest portfolios actually fell a bit for the week, closing up 1.63% YTD (vs. up 2.10% YTD at the 12/1/06 close). At Friday's close, 22 of the 40 Charity Portfolios were in the black YTD and 18 of the 40 portfolios were outperforming the NBI.
With one more week to go in the Charity Contest, another surge by RKRW's portfolio pretty much locks up the lead for him. At Friday's close RKRW's portfolio was up an astounding 71.9% YTD. Wilder's portfolio continues to hold down second place, with a not too shabby 56.5% YTD gain.
Have a stress-free weekend everyone!
