I have seriously considered that the U.S. has engaged in briar patch or Br'er rabbit diplomacy with the supposedly astute, inscrutable Chinese, and won.

Insisting China revalue the Yuan, has forced China to refuse to be forced. <g> The U.S. then gets what it really wants, cheap goods, a reliable buyer for its' debt at low interest and a weaker competitor for the worlds resources.

And China, feels good because it has "won" and stood up to those who would dare to force it to adopt an imposed policy.
