I take it you do not like gold?

If going out to a coin store and buying shiny metal lumps would get you and me stargate atlantis - with hovering spaceships and teleporters and new medicine and new science and technology and mars bases and moon bases I would "like" gold. Buying electric tesla cars can help this goal - buying many other things can help this goal - buying a lump of metal and putting it in a hole in my backyard does not help bring about stargate atlantis. I would much rather the backs of men be utilized studying genetics and computer science and AI than picking up shovels and opening long closed gold mines. Why do you allocate capital to the past - that is dead and gone - look to the brave new world young man! Space - the final frontier. Russ used to cuss me out about NASA posts on his board - but the space elevator is coming - like it or not.

You will hate it as time goes on, and it is coming.

Unlike you it is not an emotional attachment for me, no love or hate. You have not shown me how buying lumps of metal and burying it in my backyard makes star trek or stargate atlantis come. That is all I am really interested in at this point, more life, more technology, more fun, more adventure.

As cash, gold is simply brilliant. No?

I fear you are so lost and we are from different planets - but Its Ok General, Coconut will have the better future with captain kirk instead of the horrible past with blackbeard the pirate because there are more of me than there are of you, more people working everyday buying computers and technology and new medicines and gadgets than there are buying lumps of metal and putting in their backyard - hehe.

Here is a favorite website of mine - www.slickdeals.net - get you some apple ipods and hdtv's for cheap - I don't think I have ever seen them have a "slickdeal" for lumps of golden metal - hehe. Buffet was on CNBC.com with liz claiman talking about what he was buying for XMAS - a new HDTV from his furniture store - not a shiny lump of metal - he said HDTV and some popcorn was heaven - not dusting off his shiny coins - he is the 2cnd richest man in the world - are you getting LCD or Plasma? I still have sony CRT tubes in my projector - in those space scenes in all the sci fi movies the contrast ratio is still pretty good - but the new tech is fast encroaching.

There is nothing like Deathmatch or warcraft on a 10 foot screen. 40 inches - what a joke - size does matter - hehe.
