Hey! nice idea....we should call this board the TRAILBLAZERS URANIUM STOCKS....or not...but I liked this post @ SH...
"Uranium Bull Market? A "trailblazer's" story I wrote this on TEL, but it’s applicable to the entire Uranium Index, so I thought I should share this with you all:
You know, I was just thinking the other day what a great Bull market we're in (Uranium). I spoke with several friends and colleagues about it at a Christmas party, expecting to have some decent opinions, back and forth banter, and share some wonderful stories about how much paper gains we've made on this stock and that stock, (similar to the last 2 major bulls - Nortel and WiLan, and Cisco, and Cel-loc; then it was Suncor and Nexen, and EnCana, etc...). To my complete surprise, everyone looked at me like I was on glue. Sure, all had heard of Cameco; some even owned it at their financial adviser's advice; a few even believed it had something to do with copper (huh?); but not one had any idea what has been happening to both Uranium prices this year, and junior Uranium companies! NOT ONE! So, how long before this gets everyone's attention? A question to this question which may be more appropriate to answer this is; "When did you start investing in Nortel? Or the larger dot-coms? When did you buy Suncor, or EnCana? Was it really at its' low point? Lowest 1/3 price? Lowest 1/2 price??? If I were to conduct a survey of a sample group on 100 people who have been investing in the stock market for the last 10 years, my bet is that 80% invested between the middle and the high-end of the PPS, while maybe 20% got in early. Of that 80% group, I would guess that 90% invested at a time where it, and its peers were front page news in the business section on a daily basis. The remaining 20% of early investors would be a combination of insiders and a select group of individuals who believed that they had something big, and "played" around with their double, triple, quad or even 50 bagger profits between $2.00-$10 dollars. My long winded point is that I think the bull market for Uranium has still not run. Those few of us that are actually investing in this cycle today are just that - few. The real bull begins when Uranium companies are front page news on a daily basis (Like Nortel & Tech stocks were - like Suncor and Oils were). Only then will we be trading our high priced stocks in ranges that most on this board would completely slam me for even insinuating. For us very few "trailblazers" in Uranium stocks, I leave you with a final thought; when we get to the point that most or all investors are buzzing about Uranium and own some Uranium stock, you'll know we've hit it big time." by CLLISNOGOOD |
