"Those are facts, my friend. "

No they aren't. Nowhere has anyone suggested that temp. changes lag CO2 concentrations by 800 years. Except for you. I'd like you to propose a mechanism for that one.

"Still, however, your GW "expert" tried to come up with a construction ad absurdum about how CO2 still caused the warming thus demonstrated.
I just pointed out the obvious consequences, should his BS be taken seriously."

No, you've made up something entirely new. His rationale is pretty simple. You have some warming, followed by some melting to make a carbon sink available to the atmosphere. Likely warming of permafrost. Followed by a build up of CO2 and further warming.

"I claim nothing and rest observing those curves, where the warming comes first and the CO2 follows."

In a natural system, that might be the usual case, ignoring times of heavy volcanic activity. But what about a case where an additional 10^13 tons of CO2 is being added to the system per year? There isn't an example of that in the geological record.

Again, does CO2 absorb in the infrared? Your conclusions are predicated on it not.
