That sounds so familiar. I don't know what people do with all of that space. My house is 2200 sq ft and just right. We raised our boys here and we had plenty of room. My grandparent's house was 900 sq ft and they raised two kids there. Mom and Uncle Bill had to share a room.........which wasn't so neat when my mom got older, but they managed just fine. Plus......I wouldn't want to pay the heating bill. They are doing that all over our area too. Either that or building these huge monstrosities from scratch.
