"Central bank" isn't the same thing as "central planning."

Central planning doesn't work because there is simply no way that a disinterested party can make rational economic decisions via proxy on behalf of interested parties.

Only you know what you want, what you need, and what you are willing to pay.

A central bank doesn't decide what you want, nor what you need, it just acts as a clearing house.
