Nice try but that's a crock. You argued that people should know what they are doing. It is incredibly obvious that many can barely function in society, much less handle a complex financial transaction. It is also well known that people will do things they know they shouldn't.

Ask the folks at Ownit if maybe they should have been a little smarter about who they gave loans to and how much. Those guys are "experts" at that type of financial transaction and they f'ed up big time. They are just the tip of the iceberg.
