That is true, guys that have never had more than 5 grand in their checking accounts suddenly had 100 grand burning a hole in their pocket. Who was that guy on one of the boards that was describing clogged roadways in Southern Cal on the way to Mexico for a weekend with thousands of SUV's pulling trailers with giant boats, ATVs, Waverunners etc, all bought with housing bubble cash ? LOL

Will those guys be able to afford to put gas in those things if housing money runs out?

Can a high of a "free" 100K in your pocket ever be replaced by something else ?
Or will consumer confidence experience slow, long erosion for years to come ?
