Comline Telecommunications Wire via Individual Inc. -- LSI Logic Korea has
developed
a one-chip, the L64724, for the Digital Broadcasting System (DBS). The
one-chip
includes a microprocessor, a DVB, a DSS, a QPSK and an A/D converter. Its
simple
structure means the chip can process data faster. It also features EPD.
With its trim filter,
L64724 is compatible with the US's DirecTV and Europe's Single Carrier Per
Channel
(SCPC). The Company will sell the chip at a unit price of less than $10.
