I took a gamble on Micron calls and lost. DRAM prices should continue to have upward pressure due to the increased demand generated from Vista deployments. Flash RAM is being deployed in everything from thin clients to thumb drives. Flash based MP3 players are flying off the shelves. Flash backup technology is just past the early adopter stage. Will increased yields outstrip demand? Can Micron eek out a profit?
