Better news then you expected, that's great.

Reduction of the shoulder in an older person can cause more problems if it's done too fast. They first need to get the surrounding muscles, tendons, ligiments to relax or you can cause serious damage. Usually they give it a few days for the body to settle down from the shock of the trauma it sustained, then they take the person, place them under anestisa and try and reduce the shoulder.
