The GOP thinks like this: Has Obama ever appeared in public with Jesse Jackson or any "angry blacks"? If so, they spread the word to conservative and moderate whites that Obama is a wolf in sheep's clothing who's going to put the blacks in charge. Say goodbye to most of the purple states right there. Remember the phony photos they spread around the internet of Kerry with Jane Fonda? Same deal. Then they'll look into his personal life. He's already admitted to doing cocaine, but what else? Has he ever slept with a white woman? Bingo. Right there, the Harold Ford Mandingo smear. Into the heart of hearts of all white men. Then what about his support the the military? Affirmative action? Quotas? Amnesty for illegals? etc. etc. Before you know they've turned him into a real menace to Middle America.
