iPhone Details- no link- from another thread

From Morgan Stanley's Rebecca Runkle.

Runkle says that “proprietary supply-chain checks” provide her with “high conviction” that the iPhone will launch in the 2007 first half. She expects an announcement at MacWorld or some other time early next year. She says at least two models have begun production: 4-gig and 8-gig flash versions with capacity to build up to 12 million units in calendar 2007.

Runkle has more details on the phones:
• List prices: $599 for the 4 gig; $649 for the 8 gig.
• Design: slightly larger than screen size (2.8 x 2.1 inches) and ~0.4 inches thick, which would wider than a Nano, thinner than the Video iPod. On-screen virtual click wheel.

• Capacity: 12 million units in calendar 2007.
• Carrier partner: Cingular, in the U.S.
• Functionality: 3 megapixel camera, MP3, video. Email and calendar functions unconfirmed.
