The next fatal mistake, if any, will be for you, gringos, to start playing "cowboys and latinos". Unlike African Americans and Asian Americans, Hispanic immigrants make up an open-end immigration far more difficult to control than the growth of other minorities.... The growth of the US's black minority is basically a function of the US's current Black population's birth rate coupled with its "depletion rate" (drugs, shootouts, AIDS,...). Black immigration from Africa or Brazil is rather negligible. Ditto with Asians, although Chinese mafias do manage to trickle a few thousand illegals into the US every year, the distance --the Pacific Ocean-- between Asia/China and the US makes it very difficult for a massive illegal immigration into the US --after all, we haven't heard of seaborne Minutemen crisscrossing the Pacific Ocean, have we?
That's why I have long suspected that the whole anti-Muslim-al-qaeda hysteria spun by the US media-military complex was but a distraction, a mind-control scheme of sorts, to lure US public opinion away from the US's REAL immigration mess, namely, the Hispanic one. If Hispanic immigration into the US gets out of hand, it has the potential of turning terroristic: all the ingredients are present, it's just a matter of mixing them all together. The Mexican, Colombian, Brazilian,... mafias are so far merely concerned with making money out of drugs and human trafficking... They're probably among the most sophisticated "organized-crime" networks: they've got Boeing 737s, diesel-propelled subs, encrypted telecommunications, ruthless thugs and hitmen, and, like any criminal organization, they have duly infiltrated both their home law enforcement agencies AND the US law enforcement apparatus. So, I guess we can think of them as Latin American IRAs or ETAs with a purely money-oriented focus... However, if relations between the US and its Hispanic neighbors keep deteriorating --do I need to draw you a picture, Scoobah? The fence along the US-Mexican border, the increasing bashing of "wetbacks" by angry whites, prominent US leaders openly calling for the assassination of Hugo Chavez... I mean, just imagine the mess you gringos will be in when drug cartels from Latin America will morph into POLITICAL, anti-US terrorist organizations. That's the problem you should focus on. Forget about "ugly Arabs".
