Yes, I had a shop for about 3 years. It was a great way to get books! You wouldn't believe some of the stuff that walked in here. But when you're in love with the merchandise it's hard to make a profit. That would be my problem. My sister's husband had a print shop that shared space with a book/magazine/cigar shop. Some times she would give me 'reader' copies of books that were sent out to bookstores in advance of publication. I think they were just to test the waters. The thing about books that I hate: they weigh a ton. Many tons, for you and me.
