I never understood why some people choose to live in a very high-cost area, then complain that life is too tough for them. Some I can understand that circumstances make it difficult for them to move, but every person's situation is unique like that. It's why I've seen another classification being tossed around as part of the conventional wisdom: "upper middle class."
