The USA voters surely wouldn't be mean to foreigners would they?

Well, we did confiscate a lot of Japanese land during WWII, but the Japanese confiscated a lot of land themselves, first.

Different Japanese, of course, but on the West Coast anti-Asian immigrant prejudice was very strong ever since the first Chinese came here to build railroads. Different now, we admire Asians.

But I'd say that if we decided to confiscate anybody's land, it wouldn't be from Kiwis.

Plus which, given our lawyer-to-litigant ratio, you'd have a fighting chance.

I mean, look at the guys in Guantanamo. The government fights their lawyers every step of the way, but the Supreme Court keeps ruling in their favor.
