Thanksalot, The degrading of the family unit in America began long before either of the Bush Presidents had anything to do with it.
Certain society groups seem to have more unwed mothers, divorced singe parents, open drug use, and parents that don't give a damn about the education of their children, in the homes, and have a chip on their shoulders.
Yes, women were treated as second class citizens for far too long in America, as well as Europe, which gave birth to the Women's Lib, movement, and although most, if not all, of the men that went along with that pseudo slavery are dead, they should feel shame.
As in any business, when a rabid union gets installed, the end product produced suffers and the public gets short changed.
Until all parents take a stand for better educations for their children, and get personally involved in the process, our educational problems will continue. If they don't get active, they are just blowing hot air. |
