Tomas: Wonder why Kerm didn't respond when you asked him twice about IPC on the Canadian Oil and Gas thread some time ago?
I found that strange too. The first time I thought he may have overlooked my post but twice seems more than an oversight. Perhaps he doesn't care for some of my irreverence and sense of humor, I don't know. You're welcome to put in your two cents worth and see if you have better luck. He does monitor/join individual threads as it was his visit to the "Strictly Drillers" thread that prompted my questions to him. He also posted on this thread some time ago... He's very knowledgeable and I'd certainly value his opinion.
By the way, did you receive Sands Petroleum's annual report? Do you find Sands a worthy bridegroom, or is your little puppy still too young to get married? Satisfied with the dowry?
I received it the day I was leaving for Hawaii. Needless to say, beachcombing is very strenuous and simply doesn't allow time for studying annual reports. nice pictures though <bg>. I have looked through it and the numbers, projects, and obviously management complement IPC's nicely. It should be a very good marriage, and no divorce like last time <g>.
The oil price is doing well. And many brokers and investment banks in Sweden recommend BUY. But our puppy just lies there doing nothing. What's the remedy for apathy?
A good swat with a newspaper. and "Bad Dog!!" come to mind <G> The remedy for apathy is continued drilling success, some positive spec reports from the likes of Oppenheimer or other oil patch gurus, good cash flow numbers, and distribution of the merger proposal. I spoke with Sophia Shane of IR today and she assured me that the new stock would be listed on the Canadian and US exchanges, but I already knew that. There are no plans to make any formal announcements until the merger circular is distributed in about 30 days. (rats) I'm sure the lack of info on Sands is a major drag on the market right now (can't speak for Sweden obviously). I did suggest that the stock price wouldn't be hurt by more news releases, but I imagine that they want to present a cohesive package in the case of the merger. Along those lines, I also wondered why there was no formal announcement as far as the spudding of the Malaysia well, and apparently some of the partners wanted to play down the event (rats again). The only mention was the one paragraph reference in the Falklands release. Don't know why the little beast suddenly went shy on us <g>.
