Thanksalot, I seem to remember a brief comment about Bush on your post, but will take your word for it.
I believe that GW is a good man, and had the best intentions, but 9/11, and some advisors that he really didn't need, pushed him off course.
The two parties that are now considered to be the major ones, are too much alike. There is too much interference in the life of American citizen, but hard core security must be maintained.
A more reasonable party needs to be started, or one like the Libertarians if modified a bit, should, and may take the forefront relatively soon, if it does not become too late.

Uh, if I remember my biology right, there would be no families without the ladies. ;^)
That women were the weaker sex has been a foolish concept since biblical times. There is very little that that they cannot perform as well, or better, than men in many ways. That came into the clear light of day during WWII when they went into the factories and built the machines of war so their men could win the war. The nation should give them thanks for such an effort.
I do believe, that it is best for women not to engage in combat, because they art the ones that provide the future generations of Americans. I can understand the control of conception, but once a fetus is alive in the womb, I believe they should cherish, and protect, that child at all cost. |
