Bush caused the huge tensions in the Middle East and Kerry is there trying to defuse the tensions and set forth an eventual pathway toward peace. The idiots who want all-out war in the Middle East had better realize three things:

- Our military is exhausted, needs a long break and cannot win in Iraq becausae it's a civil war and we can't get between the two sides. Dropping bombs won't accomplish anything.

- Many rightwingers dream of Armageddon for psychotic religious reasons, and that makes them potentially as dangerous as Al Qaida.

- Iran was supportive of us after 9-11 and only turned against us after the "Axis Of Evil" speech and Iraq invasion, so they are capable of semi supporting us and working with us.

However, the Middle East will never truly be peaceful until we don't need a drop of their oil (because we're using other cleaner fuels) and when Israel and Palestinians make a lasting agreement. Those must be the ultimate goals.

The two leaders who have done the most to bring peace to Israel are Carter and Clinton, not the Republicans. So the democratic approach works better. This is proven. Kerry is trying to carry on with those sound policies. He is a very talented statesman and we couldn't have anyone better over there right now with the possible exception of Clinton. However, this is only necessary because Bush is dangerously deluded, stubborn and arrogant. Job #1 is to get rid of Bush. Nobody overseas wants to work with him or his people, including the Iraqis.
