Kerry is there trying to defuse the tensions and set forth an eventual pathway toward peace.

I told you the real reason that he went there, you dum dum, it's a PR stunt to get his ugly mug on the news programs. Everyone knows it, just like everyone, excepting you and Kerry himself, knows that his political future is burnt toast, done, finished.
