TJ, I realized you meant in the time of high drama when people are running in all directions looking for safety. I was just pointing out that the initial and substantial drama will first be to punish savers and wipe debt, which of course will lead to high and higher interest rates. Helicopter Ben has already said what he will do.

So, first bet on that. Worry about the rest later. I doubt that deflation would become more than a transient opportunity in the initial stages in some aspects [such as housing/land] while other things zoom in price [gold for example which is not debt funded].
