Watched the first two seasons on DVD recently. I don't watch much TV these days, but once in a while order the DVD set and get through a season in a week.

The first episode dialogue was pretty tough to make out, but after that, my ear got used to it, and what I missed, I could infer. My (American) wife found it rather more difficult. Great show.

Hugely enjoyed Deadwood, too (which presents its own language problems for some...).
