Hi everybody,
I am back to Silicon Investor since late 2000, just bought MOT recently. Looked at S&P report, Morningstar and Merrill Lynch.
The numbers are reasonable, P/E around 16-17, 16 billion in cash, the price/sales reasonable too. For whatever is worth, Merrill Lynch has a target of 30.

I once told a leading banker at First Boston in New York that if in Medicine (I am a doctor) we were as accurate as the Wall Street analysts, we would kill 1/3 of our patients and seriously destroy another 1/3, while the remaining 1/3 would be greatly improved.

Well, beside the analysts, the company has done very well under the current management. It looks like their sales are growing fairly well.

Of course, as we all know, is the speed of earning growth, their quality and predictability which make a good stock.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the industry if apple makes their iphone.

I will later post the numbers for estimates eps and sales for 2007 and 2008,

good luck,

Alfredo Nova
